🦷En mass retraction protocol

Also called one stage Anteriors retraction

👉Only anteriors are retracted

👉Teeth move bodly without tipping

👉No midline shift

👉Less time consuming than 2 stage

⚡ But 2 stage retraction method is indicated in anterior crowding and in more flaring and in canine high up and in midline shift

Procedur

🦷One Stage approach is 

👉1 absolute anchorage by  interdental miniscrew between 6 and 5 at the same level of center of rotation

👉2 hook of retraction and miniscrew must be in the same level of center of resistance

👉3 most adaptive stst wire is 17x25 or 19x25 for bodly movement 

N.B (To Decrease Friction between wire and teeth we use ligature tie not elastic tie )

💡To control 1st molar rotation during enmass retraction we can do one of these tricks 😉

🦷Use Buccal Tube on 7  

🦷Use TPA without u loop  

⚡ But when we use buccal tube on 7 it will increase friction and also more 7 more distalization 

💡 To overcome this complication we can use elastics between 7 tube and crimpable hook 😉
